George was always so hilarious, he had a good sense of humour and could make anyone laugh. I remember when my sister first started dating their grandson Kieran. We went to their house one day to visit Kieran and he kept teasing me about how the Cold Lake reserve boys would go for me and to keep an eye out because they would steal my heat and he was saying all of the the boys were “ugly” because they chewed snuff and had no teeth. He teased about how awful it would be to kiss these boys from Cold Lake. It was just his way of being funny and we all laughed. He was a nice man. I am glad my nephew Mackynli got to meet his chapan and spent whatever time he could with him while he was alive. Rest In Peace George, you will forever be missed.
