It is with sadness that I learnt that a wonderful person was not longer available to speak with. She is speaking with God and our Blessed Mother. It was at the funeral of Maynard Metchewais that I learnt Melanie's mission on earth had ended. The video tribute is fantastic. I was at her and Henry's 50th wedding anniversary celebrations. I remember praying with them and taking to Henry Holy Communion in their home. On another time, eating with them in their house and later shaving Henry in the hospital. Over the past 10 years I often spoke with her in a restaurant or in the parking lot at Wal-Mart. My condolences to family.
Time has changed many things and I was told I did not need permission to go to the funeral of Maynard. After his funeral, with my wife, I drove around the outer road of the cemetery, praying the Prayer for the Poor Souls. May the soul of Melanie Rest In Peace.
