Obituary of Eugene Jensen

JENSEN, Eugene October 11, 1958 ~ May 26, 2021 It is with profound sadness that the family of Eugene Jensen announces his passing with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the age of 62 years. Eugene loved his family as well as the outdoors. When the opportunity arose, you could find him fishing, hunting, or just enjoying valued time with his family & many friends. Eugene was the Vice President of Métis settlements general council for many years, a former councillor of Elizabeth Métis settlement and the manager of EMS energy services. He was very well known and respected in the political area and the oilfield industry. Eugene will be forever remembered and loved dearly by his love of 35 years: Joan Soloway; children: Mary Jean Jensen, Jarret Boostrom, Brandi Jensen, Kandi Soloway-Jensen (Kendra), Jasmine Soloway-Jensen; precious grandchildren: Kitana, Kyndra, Shanay, Kelsey, Laveyna, Azrael aka “Mister Man”; siblings: Lawrence, Karen (Terry), Sharon, Frida (Brian), Shirley, Michael, Harry, Paul, Agnes, Kenny (Eileen), Dorothy; special nephews: Darian & Braydon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives. Eugene was predeceased by his parents: Mary & Borge Jensen; in-laws: Agnes & Edward Soloway; siblings: Betty, Nancy, Sharon Rose, Floyd, Gary (infant).
