Eugene was a great friend, funny, and resourceful, it hurt my heart to hear of his passing. We did visit a lot, in person and on the phone. I've Known him for years- in numerous capacities, business manager, politician, and community advocate, most recently, he was a fish provider for McMurray Metis. He will be a great loss to his family- and our sincere condolences to the family and community for this loss. He was a good man and will land in a good place.
