February 25, 1946 ~ March 25, 2021
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Richard Charles Wirges announces his passing on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the age of 75 years.
Richard will be forever missed and loved by his wife of 55 years: Elaine Wirges; sons: Robert (Corinna) Wirges, Roydon Wirges, Ryan Wirges; three grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Gavin, Owen & Addison; siblings: Raymond (Sheena) Wirges, Mona (Dave) Duncan, Terry (Conway) Pelletier; brother & sisters-in-laws: Lionel (Elaine) Baribeau, Gisèle Nogier, Jocelyne (Tony) Panas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Richard was predeceased by his parents: John & Simone Wirges; parents-in-law: Alex & Cecile Baribeau; numerous aunts & uncles.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Richard will be held at a later date when the COVID restrictions have been lifted.
Memorial tributes in memory of Richard may be sent to Habitat for Humanity Edmonton division designated to the Cold Lake sub organization.
