Minnie (Monica) Hildebrandt nee Schilling
July 23, 1923 – February 13, 2021
It is with profound sadness that the family of Minnie Hildebrandt announce her passing on February 13, 2021.
Mom was born near Oungre, Saskatchewan July 23, 1923, to Parents Emmanuel and Rosa Schilling. One of 8 children.
Forever remembered by Son’s Ron, Larry (Gloria), Glenn (Judy), daughters, Marlene (Glen), Terri. And daughter-in-law, Donna Hildebrandt.
Sisters Marg and Kaye, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. As well as many
other family and friends. Minnie was predeceased by her parents, 6 siblings, and son’s Dan and Kelly.
Words cannot describe our mother. She was “One of a Kind”. You would never forget mom’s smile, it lit up a room. Mom
She loved going for coffee with friends to sit and chit chat. Mom was a very strong women, her faith over the years being very important to her. Mom was one of the original women to start the CWL of the Assumption Parish.
Minnie moved to Grand Centre in 1952, where she resided for 70 years. In her younger years she loved Bingo and all the people she could socialize with. Watching hockey was her favorite too, of course she cheered for the Oilers. Mom, also loved cooking, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut and pickled beets were the families’ favorite. Mom lived in Beaumont/Leduc, AB in the last 6 years, to be Closer to family.
The family send special thanks to staff at Leduc Extendicare and Dr. Barry, for their wonderful care and compassion.
Sadly gone, always remembered and forever loved.
