Although I didn’t know Minnie for very long, or very well for that matter, I’m sure I will always remember her! Throughout the time I knew her, when she was still living in Cold Lake, we had many impromptu conversations on a wide variety of topics and she never failed to surprise or amuse me with her stand on certain issues. Many of our chats revolved around religion and spirituality and I really respected our ability to “agree to disagree” with no hard feelings on either side. Minnie certainly had a strong and confident personality but was also more open-minded than many of her generation, making for many lively and insightful interactions. I truly believe that both of us were influenced by the other, proof that we often have no idea what kind of impact we may have on others! My sympathies and prayers to all of Minnie’s family but I have a feeling she would be correcting us by saying, “ You shouldn’t be grieving me- you should be rejoicing for me as I’ve a had a very full life indeed and I am now where I belong”.
My condolences
