September 8, 1933 ~ November 8, 2020
On Sunday, November 8, 2020 Rene Normand of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away at the age of 87 years.
Rene will be forever remembered by his nephew: Raymond (Janet) Normand; great nieces: Sherry (Willy) Cole, Mandy (Dan) Vasseur; great - great nieces & nephew: Kalie, Sierra, Axel & Aria; brother: Maurice Normand; as well as other nieces & nephews.
Rene was a quiet soul, exceptional baker, wonderful cook and phenomenal landscaper. He owned his own bakery in Bonnyville in the 1970’s and then after retired at an early age. After retirement Rene would keep himself occupied with landscaping and spending time with Raymond and his family, cooking them great meals and spending time with them on a regular basis. Raymond was very special to Rene, they share a lot of memories together.
Rene was predeceased by his parents: Philippe & Diana Normand, nephew: George Normand; sister-in-law: Jeannine Normand.
