I am Jacques Aubin, a nephew of Rene, through his sister Irene (Demers) Aubin. I was fortunate to have met him several times, he used to come visit us yearly & after I grew up & had my own Family, we went & spent a weekend at his cabin, good memories! He often talked about Raymond. The last time I saw him was at his birth brother's funeral in Vernon. I did try and call him several times, the last time was about a month ago, but no answer. If any of the Normand family could contact me about the events of his passing, it would be very appreciated (780-906-2151). S'il vous plaît et merci...

Our sincere condolences to Maurice, Raymond and the Normand family. I have great memories of our neighbours, the Normand family and René was always close to us. My mom, Monica Veillette worked for many years at René’s bakery and always cherished him as a great boss and friend. It is with sadness, but with fond memories that we say goodbye to René.
