On Friday, August 29, 2014 Doreen Sandra John of Lloydminster passed away at the age of 50 years. Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her father Gabriel John of Kehewin, her children; Chalayne John (Edmund) of New Town, ND, Shayna Whitstone (Larry) of Onion Lake, SK, Daystar Whitstone (Jonathan) of Kehewin and Nathan Carter (Destiny) of Onion Lake, SK, 9 grandchildren; Gabriella, Maitrieya, Aryauna, Grier, Ajalea, Christina, Jewel, Ryder and Tairen, her siblings; Cynthia (Glen) Youngchief of Kehewin, Beverly (Emil) Bystrom of Marwayne, Pauline John of St. Paul, Timmy (Althena) John of Kehewin, Curtis John of Kehewin, Donovan John of Kehewin, Debra John of Kehewin and Miranda John (Brendnor) of Onion Lake, SK. A wake was held on Monday and Tuesday, September 1 and 2, 2014 at the Kehewin Community Centre. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Rene Realuyo officiating at the Kehewin Community Centre. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta.
