Obituary of Gladys Edna Cardinal-gauthier

On Monday, May 17, 2010 Gladys Cardinal- Gauthier of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years. Gladys will be sadly missed by her children; James (Valerie) Cardinal of Edmonton, AB, Vernon (Eileen) Cardinal of Elizabeth Settlement, AB, Raymond Cardinal of Wetaskiwin, AB, Arsene Cardinal of Bonnyville, AB, Peter (Diane) Cardinal of Hondo, AB, Gabe (Leona) Cardinal of Bonnyville, AB, Paul Cardinal of Edmonton, AB, Pauline Mawer of Bonnyville, AB, Marlene (Aaron Stroshein) Stanners of Saskatoon, SK, David (Lise) Cardinal of Gateau, QC, Daniel Cardinal of Edmonton, AB, Daveen Cardinal of Bonnyville, AB, Susie (David) Jacob of St. Albert, AB, Benji (Brian) Schweitzer of Lincoln , NE: sister; Delphine Fortier of Grand Prairie, AB. 35 Grandchildren, 41 Great-Grandchildren & 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Gladys was predeceased her sons; Stanley & Charlie: daughter; Evelyn: brothers; Joe Boucher, James Gauthier, Sibert Gauthier, Henry Cardinal: sisters; Caroline Sinclair & Mary Soloway; Great Great Grandchild; Tristan Cardinal. A visitation was held Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel. A wake was held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Bonnyville Community Church. A mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Parish with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant. Interment followed at St. Michael’s Cemetery, LaCorey, Alberta. Pallbearers were Terrence Mawer, Kieran Corrigan, James Peters, Keith Cardinal, Joseph Stanners, Zachary Stanners.
