On Tuesday, May 11, 2010 David John of Kehewin, Alberta passed away at the age of 48 years. David will be sadly missed by his siblings; Alvina John of Moose Lake, AB, Linda John of Moose Lake, AB, Hazel John of Edmonton, AB, Mildred (Derek) John of Edmonton, AB, Floyd (Russ) John of Edmonton, AB, Ann (Bill) John of Edmonton, AB; 16 Nieces & 17 Nephews, 49 Great Nieces & Nephews; adopted mom; Rose Cardinal; god father; William Kehewin. David was predeceased by his parents; Mary (1986) & David Sr. (2000); brothers; Clifford (1972), Ronald (1975), Gerald (1985). A prayer vigil was held on Thursday & Friday, May 13 & 14, at 5:00 p.m. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish with Father Polycarp Chukwu smmm as the celebrant. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Kehewin, Alberta. Pallbearers were Terrance John, Dustin John, Leslie John, Dakota Jones, Kaine John, and Billy Cardinal. Honourary Pallbearers were Brenda Cardinal, Amelia John, Christina John, Shirley Gladue, Wayne Cardinal, Trevor Cardinal, Victor John, Howard John, Richard John, George John, Rodney John, Eric Gadwa, Jerry John, Lloyd Waskahat, Danny Cardinal, Ricky Badger nieces, nephews and all in laws.
