On Tuesday, June 17, 2014 Mr. Frederick Peter Karas of LaCorey passed away from his long battle with cancer at the age of 59 years. Fred will be very deeply missed by his wife Bernadette Karas, his children; Landon Karas, April (Michael) Koziol, Ashton (Vanessa) Karas, Myron Karas and Bryon (Kelly) Karas, granddaughter; Charlotte and his siblings; John Karas, Mike (Rita) Karas, Rose (Mike) Hawrylak, Steve (Lena) Karas and Diane (Don) Schaeffer. Fred was predeceased by his parents; Irene (nee Sawchuk) and Peter Karas.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June, 23, 2014 at Bonnyville Pentecostal Church with Pastor Jairo Leandro officiating. Interment will follow at the Sandy Rapids Pentecostal Cemetery.
