On Sunday, June 8, 2014 Ms. Eva Marie Broadfoot of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 76 years. Eva will be remembered by her special friend; Elmer Hinecker of Bonnyville, her children; Janice Obichon of Peace River, Darlene Obichon of Vancouver, Brenda Obichon of Heart Lake, Robert Denis Obichon of Edmonton, Opal Thomas of Prince George, Grace Walker of Bonnyville and Robert James (Priscilla) Broadfoot of Cold Lake, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings; Jenny Piche and David Charland of Cold Lake. Eva was predeceased by her husband James E Broadfoot and her son Marvin Scanie.
A wake was held on Thursday and Friday, June 12 and 13, 2014 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations. Interment followed at Holy Family Cemetery, Bonnyville.
