DOONANCO, Josephine
June 29, 1934 – January 3, 2020
On Friday, January 3, 2020 Mrs. Josephine Marie Doonanco of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 85 years. Jo will be lovingly remembered by her children; Nelson Matthews of Peace River, Bert Doonanco of Edmonton, Bob Doonanco (Kelly Saucier) of Cold Lake, Geri (Dwayne) Eiriksson of Cold Lake and Dwight Doonanco of Cold Lake, and her honorary children Darlene Doonanco, Denis Lucas (Lori) and Jimmy Hunter, 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Jo was predeceased by her husband Robert Doonanco, her children; George, Jacqueline and Beatrice, her parents; Peter and Genevieve Desjarlais and her step father Archie Gardiner and 5 siblings; Flora, Mable, Roger, Ed and Irene.
A funeral celebration was held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Cold Lake.
