DESJARLAIS, Ernest

June 27, 1942 – December 4, 2019

 

On Wednesday, December 4, 2019 Mr. Ernest Alexander Desjarlais of St. Paul formerly of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away at the age of 77 years. Ernest will be forever remembered by his children; Gary Moosewah, Kimberly Joe, Leah Desjarlais and Wendy Joe, his grandchildren; Jolene Joe, Chantelle Joe, Theresa (Kenneth) Moyah, Colten Joe, Orly Joe and Jessica Desjarlais, 7 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Albert Desjarlais and Henry Desjarlais sister; Judy Desjarlais and numerous nieces and nephews. Ernest is predeceased by his daughter; Wanda Marie Joe, grandson; Clayo Brian Wayne Desjarlais, parents; James and Louise Mary Desjarlais, brothers; Lawrence, Joe, George, Tommy, William, Gilbert and Harvey and his sisters; Annie, Caroline, Mary, Helen, Flora, an infant sister and Bernice.

 .

Wake; Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall.

Funeral; Monday, December 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth Métis Settlement. Interment at the Elizabeth Settlement Cemetery.
