JANVIER, Homer

February 1, 1940 – November 19, 2019

 

On Tuesday, November 19, 2019 Mr. Homer Henry Janvier suddenly passed away at home on Cold Lake First Nations at the age of 79 years. Homer will be forever loved by his wife; Rose Janvier, his children; Cameron (Glenda) Janvier, Randy (Christine) Janvier, Wendy Janvier (Gil), Holly (Dennis) Crookedneck, Becky (Stuart) Anderson and Homer J.R. Janvier, 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, his siblings; Mary (Dave) McLaughlin, Ernie Janvier, Irene Stuart, Lena Fisher, Jack (Novlet) Janvier, Lorraine Janvier and Bonnie (Derek) West and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Homer was predeceased by his son; William Janvier, grandchildren; Shelby, Swade and Billy Joe Janvier and Bryce Morningchild, parents; Isabelle and William Janvier and his brother; Raymond Janvier.

Wake; Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Cold Lake First Nations Band Hall, leaving Bonnyville at 2:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial; Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations.

Interment will follow at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers; Joe Anderson, DJ Crookedneck, Quade Janvier, Damon Janvier, Dakota Trottier, Dustin Janvier, Dallas Janvier and  Rudy Janvier-Cardinal.
