Obituary of Mary Wakaruk

WAKARUK, Mary

November 14, 1925 – August 27, 2019

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 Mrs. Mary Wakaruk of Cold Lake formerly of Ardmore passed away at the age of 93 years. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children; Marilyn Wakaruk, Ed (Violet) Wakaruk, Andy (Jackie) Wakaruk and Donald (Verna) Wakaruk, her grandchildren; Amanda (Olav) Wakaruk, Jeremy (Kim) Wakaruk, Adèle (Darren)Wakaruk, Matthew (Holly) Wakaruk, Sabrina (Danny) Flett and  Jamie (Kim) Guenther, her great grandchildren; Samantha, Nicholas, Sentah, Kaleigha, Quidailah, Morgan, Keenan, Caleb, Felix and Milo and her siblings; Steve (Eileen) Ward and Alice (Daryl) Rutherford. Mary was predeceased by her husband; Steve Wakaruk, her son William Wakaruk and her siblings; Bill Watamaniuk and Helen Yakimchuk.

A viewing will be on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Duclos Memorial Cemetery, Ardmore, Alberta.

Mary’s family would like to sincerely thank the nursing and health care workers at Points West Living in Cold Lake, who so lovingly cared for our mother over the past few years.
