Obituary of Maryanne Blackman
BLACKMAN, Maryanne
February 4, 1931 – March 30, 2019
On Saturday evening, March 30, 2019 Mrs. Maryanne Blackman of Cold Lake First Nations passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. Maryanne lived a full life; she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, picking berries, playing games and her hobbies. She will be lovingly remembered and cherished as a wife, mother to her children, a loving grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, teacher and lifelong friend to many.
Maryanne is survived by her 12 children; Marlene (Dave) Reimer, Joyce (Tony) Mandamin, Bernadette Cardinal, Susan Blackman, Roslyn Weal, Cecile Blackman, Frank Blackman, Brian Blackman, Sharon (Jack ) Procyk, Victoria (Jürgen) Schmidt, Barbara Blackman and Charles Blackman, 26 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Her immediate family totals 88, her age of passing. Maryanne also left to cherish her memory numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and family. She was predeceased by her husband; Francis Blackman, sons in law; Cameron Hinds, Herbert Weal and Richard Cardinal, grandsons; Francis Boyd McFeeters and Bradley Minoose, parents; Norbert and Suzanne Janvier, siblings; Abraham Janvier, Florestine Scanie, August Janvier, Caroline Watchapeese and John Janvier.
Wake: Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Spiritual Centre (leaving Bonnyville at 3:00 p.m.)
