Obituary of Henry Schultheiss

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Henry Schultheiss on May 08, 2014 to be with his soul mate Rita (who predeceased him in 2008). He is survived by his three children Shannon (Andrew) Desjarlais, Steve (Natalie) Schultheiss and Shawn (Rosylyn) Schultheiss. Six beautiful grandchildren, who were the highlight of his life. Chad, Bryce, Kaylin, Mitchell, Katharine and Olivia. It brought him great joy to come to all the grandchildren’s different activities, seven sisters; Lillian Balazs, Gertrude (Bob) Wadden, Irene (Ted) Fielder, Marie Johnston, Dorothy (Eian) Wilson, Frieda (Brian) Lembicz and Ilene Schultheiss as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Ulrich Schultheiss (1999), mother Pauline (2003), brother-in-laws Bill Balazs (2013), Glenn Johnston (2010). Henry will always be remembered for his love of sports, especially hockey and his Toronto Maple Leafs. His commitment to volunteering in the community; Grand Centre Fire Dept., Cold Lake Jr. B. Ice, Grand Centre Minor Hockey Equipment Manager, Sherwood Park Crusaders, Alberta Summer Games. His love of camping, attending jamborees and dancing with Rita.
