JACKNIFE, John Joseph

October 16, 1971 – May 13, 2018

On Sunday May 13, 2018 John Joseph Jacknife passed away at the age of 46 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his children; Catriona Blackman, Angel Blackman, Chad Blackman, Jacob Blackman, Tori Main and Willow Jacknife, grandchildren; Joel, Zaide, Harlan, Eleanora and Luanna, his sisters and brothers; Elizabeth (Alex Blyan), Vivian Jacknife, Doris Jacknife, Deloris Jacknife, Sophie Jacknife (Vincent Janvier), Sonia Jacknife (Jason Cardinal), Dwayne Jacknife, Diane Jacknife, Loretta Jacknife, Daniel Jacknife (Lisa Lefebvre), and Leon Jacknife, his special family; Laura Collins, Barb Wells, Leona Marquis, Evelyn Gamache and Val Lagimodiere, numerous nieces and nephews . John was predeceased by his grandson: Charlie Blacknan, his parents Norman and Clara Jacknife, his brothers: Richard “David” and Robert “Bobby”, his nephew: Derrick Jacknife, his maternal grandparents: Philimon and Colin Cardinal and his paternal grandparents: William and Monica Jacknife and his god parents: Pat and Adline Swan. A wake was held on Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20, 2018 at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall with pastor Claude Desjarlais presiding. Interment followed at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery.
