Obituary of Irene Louise Babey

BABEY, Irene Louise

February 20, 1930 – April 16, 2018

On Monday, April 16, 2018 Mrs. Irene Louise Babey of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 88 years. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her children; Shirley (Tracy) Layton of Bonnyville, Pat (Allen) Espetveidt of LaCorey, Lucille (Leonard) Remesz of Spruce Grove, Rose (Rob) Sprinkling of Calgary, Randy (Yvette) Babey of Beaverdam and George (Trudy) Babey of Bonnyville, her grandchildren; Brenda (Scott) Ross, Bonnie Layton, Trent Espetveidt, Keith (Jaclyn) Maurice, Kristine (Shawn) Crossland, Kim (Tyler) Remesz-Corrigan, Mathew Remesz, Cameron Remesz, Terry (Jayne) Evanoff, Serena (Steve) Critch, Cole (Christina) Babey and Brandon (Teresa) Babey, great grandchildren;Mikayla Michaud (Graham), Kaylie & Grady Ross, Lauren & Brooke Harper, Kingston & Deklan Crossland, Brodie, Duncan, Connor & Liam Critch, Chase, Cahlia and Cyndal Babey, Hailey, Emmett & Jaylin Babey and her sister and brother; Dorothy Jex and Harold (Isabel) Coad. Irene was predeceased by husband: John Babey (2008), parents: Fred (1954) & Annie (1968) Coad, brother: Jack Coad and sisters: Phyllis Hatch, Vivian Koch-White and Elsie Felts. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Church, with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiting. Interment followed at St. John's United Church Cemetery, Bonnyville.
