On Tuesday, June 20, 2017 Mr. Alex Gelety of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 78 years. Alex will be remembered by his daughter; Patsy (Randy) Middagh, son; Greg (Darlene) Gelety, grandchildren; Kelsey and Dylan Middagh, Kennedy (Jordan) Lepper, Tyler and Rylie Solowoniuk, great granddaughter; Arie Lepper, siblings; Annie Hilgartner, Raymond (Donna) Gelety and Ken (Helen) Gelety, sister and brothers in law; Diane Gelety, Gloria Balla, Betty (Paul) Davidiuk, Wauneata (Winston) Yakoweshen, Lonnie (Shirley) Byford and Larry Byford. Alex was predeceased by his wife; Norma Gelety, granddaughter; Amber Lynn Gelety, parents; Katherine and Peter Gelety, brother; Nick Gelety and brothers in law; Ben Hilgartner and Rudolph Balla. Visitation Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel. Funeral service Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Church. Interment followed at the Bonnyville Russo Orthodox Cemetery.
