November 13, 1946– June 16, 2017

On Friday, June 16, 2017 Mrs. Iona Joan Geissinger of Ardmore passed away at the age of 70 years, following a long journey with cancer. Iona will be lovingly remembered by her husband; Jim Geissinger, son; Clayton (Brenda) Geissinger, grandson; Robert J. Geissinger, granddaughters; Ceceil (Kurt) Kwiatkowski, Jessica Geissinger, Tamara Geissinger, Alex Geissinger and Sabrina Geissinger, her great grandchildren; Madison Kwiatkowski, Payton and Connor Giessinger, and her sisters; Ilene (Henry) Hall, Eleanor Bobocel and Doreen (Art) Jervis. Iona was predeceased by her parents; Olga and Ken VanRiper and her brother in law Dean Bobocel.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Iona’s life; Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ardmore Senior’s Centre.
