MARTIAL, Karissa
On Saturday, July 6, 2013 Miss Karissa Jo Martial of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 20 years. Karissa will forever be remembered by her parents Maureen and Cecil Janvier, brother Leon Martial (Megan), sister Morgan Janvier (Chad), 3 nieces Luanna, Logan and Jersey, her god child Darnell Martial, maternal grandparents, Vivian Martial, Kenny Metchatis and Donald Lahl and her paternal grandfather Solomon Scanie.
A traditional wake was held on Thursday and Friday, July 11 and 12, 2013 at Maureen and Cecil Janvier’s residence, house 902 Cold Lake First Nations #149. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. as St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
