Although I never had a chance to meet her, I'm glad that her grandson did talk of her from time to time. He remembered and loved his grandmother. As I look upon our elders leaving for the spirit world, I can't help but think that they've taken legends, the language and traditions along with them. They've faced many hardships and shared their pains and joys. I'd like to extend my condolences to Lynnwood, Ray, Anne, Lisa and family as well as to the rest of the family that are still mourning her loss. May her memories light the way through this sad time. Sincerely.
