December 2, 1941 – March 9, 2013
On Saturday, March 9, 2013 Mr. Francis Narcis Cardinal of Glendon passed away at the age of 71 years. Francis will be lovingly remembered by his companion Ruby Kriaski, children; Doris (Jeff), Floyd (Rhys), Pearl (Warren), Pauline (Hector), Donna, Colleen, Victor, Marilyn (Tom), Amanda (Will) and Kevin (Pam), 44 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, his sister Dorothy Gadwa, special friend; Cheryl Ross, mother of his children Justine Trottier and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Francis was predeceased by his daughters LoryAnn and Caroline, great grandsons Athen and Kole Jr., his parents Mariah and Patrick Cardinal, his brothers, Clifford and Paul, and his sisters, Pauline and Caroline.
A wake was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12 and 13, 2013 at the Kehewin Community Centre. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kehewin Community Centre. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta
