WASKAHAT, Lester
On Tuesday, January 22, 2013 Lester Cameron Waskahat of Cold Lake formerly of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 50 years. Lester will be remembered by his spouse Sandra Powderhorn, his children Farron Chamakese-Waskahat, Landing Eagle Waskahat, Robert Waskahat-Sharphead, Terral Waskahat and Regan Sharphead and adopted son Rocky Badger, his siblings; Ken, Gary (Charlotte), Agnes (Arlen), Doreen (Mark), Rhonda, Lorna (Ian), Verna, Joy (Jason), Lorraine, Christine (Mike), Peter (Tasheena) and Patricia (Trevor). Lester was predeceased by his parents Peter and Ernestine Waskahat, sisters Sharon Chocan and Margaret Littlechild, maternal grandparents Theodore and Helen Janvier and paternal grandparents Archie and Agnes Waskahat.
A wake was held on Saturday and Sunday, January 26 & 27, 2013 at the Frog Lake Band Hall. A funeral service was held on Monday, January, 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Frog Lake Band Hall. Interment followed at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery, Frog Lake.
