Obituary of Marlene Cardinal

On Thursday, February 20, 2014 Marlene Florence Cardinal of Elizabeth Metis Settlement passed away at the age of 51 years. Marlene will be remembered by; her husband; Romeo Cardinal; children; Angie Cardinal, Daniel Cardinal (Melissa), Carmen Cardinal, Stacy Cardinal and Jason Cardinal, her mother; Madeline Blyan, her parents; Emile and Edna Blyan, grandchildren ; Justice, Destiny, Katarina, Cirrus, Matthias, Dyson, Bethany, Maya, Joy, Mordecai, Ayden, Orion, Leonidas, Starla and Ryden, siblings; Rick Blyan, Laurie(Donald) Collins, Russel Cardinal, Harlan Blyan, Brenda Blyan, Lewis Blyan, Floyd Cardinal, Tina Lanceleve, Steve Ells, Peter Blyan, Sherry Suchodolski, Norren (Reagan) Ivany, Lizzy Blyan, Gloria Patenaude, Marilyn Patenaude, Myrna Patenaude, Janice Patenaude, Bruce (Virgina) Blyan, and Rachel Blyan and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and friends. Marlene was predeceased by her father; Louis Blyan Jr.; paternal grandparents; Louis and Sophie Blyan, maternal grandparents; Peter Desjarlais and Katie Rasher, grandson; Malachi Cardinal-Janvier. A wake was held Tuesday and Wednesday, February 25 & 26,2014at Elizabeth Metis Settlement Community Hall. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Elizabeth Metis Community Hall, Elizabeth Settlement, Alberta with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery.
