HUNKA, George November 30, 1935- September 2, 2012 On Sunday, September 2, 2012 Mr. George Nicholas Hunka of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 76 years. George will forever be remembered by his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Hunka of Bonnyville, daughter Linda Fewchuk (Mike) of Glendon, sons; Darrin (Cindy) Hanik of Calgary and Gary (Karen) Hunka of Bonnyville, daughter-in-law Sandra (Shawn) Stobbart of Bonnyville, his grandchildren; Zachary, Jeffrey, Jared, Dallas, Nikki, Thomas, Christopher, TaraLynn, Paige, Jenna, Devin, Reece and Tatiana, 4 great grandchildren; Jesse, Wyatt, Kaleb and Hailey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. George was predeceased by his son: Michael Hunka, parents: John and Helen Hunka, brothers: Larry and Ed Hunka. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church with Father Mario Jubinville celebrating. Pallbearers were George's grandchildren; Zachary, Jeffrey, Jared, Dallas, Nikki and TaraLynn. Honourary pallbearer were his grandchildren; Thomas, Christopher, Paige, Jenna, Devin and Tatiana, great grandchildren; Jesse, Wyatt, Kaleb and Hailey, Leo and Yvonne Caouette and the Bonnyville Lions Club.
