BOWSFIELD, Sloane On Sunday, May 13, 2012 Mr. Sloane Baker Bowsfield of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 79 years. Sloane will be remembered by his sons; Cory (Tara)Ries of Bonnyville and Terry Bowsfield of Edmonton, three grandchildren; Samantha Ries, Bradley Ries and Quenten Truhn, his sister, Brooke Hall of Bonnyville, and numerous nieces nephews and friends. Sloane was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Bowsfield and his brothers Wayne and Blaire Bowsfield and sister Dawn Bowsfield. A graveside memorial service was held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Duclos Memorial Cemetery, Ardmore, Alberta with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating.
