METCHEWAIS, Charles On Tuesday, April 3, 2012 Mr. Charles Metchewais of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 83 years. Charlie leaves his children Gary Metchewais, Burton Metchewais, Gail (Dave) Hamilton, Valerie (Duane) Paproski, Clayton Metchewais, Byron Metchewais, Amanda (Jake) Houle, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother Maynard (Joyce) Metchewais and numerous relatives and friends. Charlie was predeceased by his children: Carrie Janvier and Blair Metchewais, his parents: Pierre and Annie Metchewais and 9 Siblings A prayer vigil was held on Monday, April 9 2012 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Parish with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant.
