On Tuesday October 13, 2009 Mr. Peter Charawich of Iron River Alberta, passed away at the age of 76 years. Peter will be sadly missed by his wife Diana Charawich of Iron River, AB; children: Ronald (Shelley) Charawich of Bonnyville, AB, Donna (Arthur) Yukim of Iron River, AB, Thomas (Denise) Charawich of Bonnyville, AB, Rodney (Tasia) Charawich of Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren: Ryan & Lyndon Yukim of Iron River, AB; siblings: Mary Solowoniuk of Bonnyville, AB; Steve Charawich of Iron River, AB, Nellie (Dan) Fersovitch of Edmonton, AB Peter was predeceased by his parents: Ivan & Wasylena Charawich & brother-in-law: Nick Solomoniuk. A visitation was held Friday, October 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel in Bonnyville, AB. A Funeral Service was held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Willow Prairie Community Hall with Father Michael Sawchenko as the celebrant. Interment followed in the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Beaver River Hill, Alberta. Pallbearers were: Ronald Charawich, Rodney Charawich, Tom Charawich, Ryan Yukim, Arthur Yukim, Lyndon Yukim. Honourary Pallbearers were: Mike Hawryluk, David Koziol, Nick Kalinski, Roland Ulanicki, Dan Fersovitch, Steve Charawich.
