Cardinal, Phillip Gordon April 8, 1973 – February 3, 2012 On Friday, February 3, 2012 Phillip Gordon Cardinal of Edmonton passed away at the age of 38 years. He will be sadly missed by his son; Tylor of Edmonton, mother; Jeanette (Norman) of Bonnyville, siblings; Judy Cardinal, Audrey of Edmonton, Joan of Bonnyville, Denise (Barry) of Edmonton, Brenda (Daniel) of Edmonton, Elaine of Edmonton, Randy (Linda) Cardinal of Edmonton, Joseph of Edmonton, Emery of Bonnyville, Gordon (Naomi) of Calgary, James of Bonnyville, Step siblings; Ryan of Bonnyville, Ashley of Bonnyville. Phillip was predeceased by his father James Cardinal, maternal grandparents Philomen and Amedee Cardinal, and paternal grandparents Francis Cardinal and Mary Larocque. A viewing was held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. at Appel Funeral Home, 10530-116 Street, Edmonton. Traditional wake was held 5:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall, Elizabeth Settlement, Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish, Elizabeth Métis Settlement.
