On Thursday, October 8, 2009 Mr. Gabriel Savary of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 75 years. Gabe will be sadly missed by his Wife: Maggie Savary; daughter: Priya (John) St. Thomas; son: Ken Savary; sisters: Rosie & Marty; sister in-laws: Pushpa (Roy) Chendria, Dolly (Satchie) Naidoo; Brother in-law: Joe (Clara) Naidoo; as well as his other brothers and sisters & in laws from South Africa and New Zealand; special friends: Victor and Muriel Sadlowski, Mr.TR. Pillay, & Donna Lyzun; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gabe was predeceased by his parents: Nellie & Michael Savary; four brothers & two sisters. A prayer service was held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church of Bonnyville, Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Bonnyville, AB with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant. Interment followed in the Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery Bonnyville, AB with pallbearers: John Ilchuk, Vic Sadlowski, Roger Chendria, Joe Naidoo, John St. Thomas, Ernie Isley. Honorary pallbearers were: Ken Savary, Roy Chendria, & Satchie Naidoo.
