QUINNEY, Norman December 16, 1928 – December 9, 2011 On Friday, December 9, 2011 Mr. Norman Alfred Quinney of Frog Lake, AB passed away in Elk Point at the age of 82 years. Norman will be remembered by his common law wife Marlene Lagimodiere, his children with Irene Quinney; Ruth, Teddy, Norma (Horace), Norman Jr. (Lorraine), Derrick (Shirley), Wanda, Frances (Guy), Jason (Nina) and Dennis Cardinal, his children with Marlene; Dwayne and Cheryl, his stepchildren Allison and Arlene and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Norman was predeceased by his daughter Marcella, grandson Timothy, parents Harriett and Pierre, siblings; Thomas, Lawrence, John, Christina and Freda. A traditional wake was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 13 and 14, 2011 at the Frog Lake Band Hall. Catholic funeral service was held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Frog Lake Band Hall with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant. A cultural funeral service was held at 11:45 a.m. at the Frog Lake Band Hall and the interment followed at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake.
