SHORT, Claire May 13, 1938 – November 3, 2011 Claire Marie Short of Bonnyville passed away November 3, 2011 at the age of 73 years. Claire will be lovingly remembered by her son Joseph William (Barb) Short of Calgary, her daughter Valerie Ann (Leo) Gadwa of Lloydminster, 6 grandchildren; Levi Gadwa, Kerri Houle, Shelby Gadwa, William Short, Kathryn Short and Jeremy Short, 3 great grandchildren; Peyton Houle, Aiyanna Gadwa and Addison Houle, her sister Shirley (Nick) Kalinski and her brother Clarence (Marie) Plamondon. Claire was predeceased by her husband William Joseph Short (1991), her parents Joseph (1970) and Anna (2008) Plamondon and her niece Brenda Plamondon (1960). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bonnyville Pentecostal Church with Pastor Jairo Leandro officiating. Interment followed at St. John’s Cemetery, Bonnyville. Honourary pallbearers were Irvin Funk, Lyndon Kalinski, Nathan Perrin and James Perrin. Pallbearers were Joseph Short, William Short, Leo Gadwa, Levi Gadwa, Barry Kalinski and Grant Houle. Memorial tributes in memory of Mrs. Claire Short may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5M 0H9 www.northernlightsfs.ca Northern Lights Funeral Chapel Ltd. were in trust of arrangements.
