On Friday, April 2, 2010 Mrs. Elaine Julliette Alger of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 62 years. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her children: Bill Alger of Edmonton, Troy (Tara) Alger of Fort McMurray, Perry Hunter of Morley, Rhea (Daniel Ross) McCarthy of Cold Lake and Amiela Hunter of Regina, SK, grandchildren: Kristal McCarthy, Chellsea McCarthy, Samantha McCarthy, Sophie Alger, Cassandra Alger, Amanda Alger and Rachelle Alger, great grandchildren: Ayslynn, Austin and Jemma and her sister: Denise "Bunky" McKinnon of Caperol, ON. Elaine was predeceased by her husband John Alger, grandsons, Derek and Jeremy Alger, her birth parents; Rhea Simard-Brunet and Conrad Brunet and her adopted parents; Joseph and Marieanne Vallee. A funeral service was held at Assumpton Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 9:45 a.m. in Cold Lake South, Alberta.
