STRUS, John Joseph December 4, 1931 - October 6, 2011 On October 6, 2011 Mr. John Joseph Strus of Ardmore suddenly passed away at the of 79 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon Leno of Ardmore, his children; Marvin (Maria) Straus of Lac La Biche, Laurie (Randy) Dzurka of Edmonton, Roberta (Andrew) MacLeod of Eckville, Kevin (Colleen) Straus of Iron River, Regan (Marlis) Straus of Leslieville and Heath (Ann) Straus of Bonnyville, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, step children June (Stan) Giles of Prince Albert, SK, Peter Leno of Victoria, BC and Cindy Leno of Rycroft, 6 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild and his sisters Anne Weller of St. Albert and Mary (Brian) Morrison of Ardrossan. John was predeceased by his parents Barbara and Miron Strus and his brother Mike Strus. A visitation was held on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating. www.northernlightsfs.ca Northern Lights Funeral Chapel Ltd. were in trust of arrangements.
