Obituary of Vitaline Mary Desjarlais

DESJARLAIS, Vitaline May 1, 1919 – October 4, 2011-10-05 On October 4, 2011 Mrs. Vitaline Mary Desjarlais of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away at the age of 92 years. Mrs. Desjarlais will be lovingly remembered by her children; Eileen (Vern) Cardinal of Elizabeth, Frank (Sylvia) Desjarlais of Elizabeth, Alvina (Harry) Desjarlais of Edmonton, Richard (Alvina) Desjarlais of Elizabeth, Gary (Gladys) Desjarlais of Elizabeth and Ronnie Desjarlais of Elizabeth, 40 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Mrs. Desjarlais was predeceased by her husband Antoine Desjarlais, her children; Lloyd, Robert, Hector and Marion, her parents; Simon and Marguerite Morin, sisters; Delphine, Maria and Clara and her brother Pete. A wake was held on Thursday & Friday, October 6 & 7, 2011 at the Elizabeth Métis Settlement Community Hall. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish, Elizabeth Métis Settlement with Father Hamilcar Blanco as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery. www.northernlightsfs.ca Northern Lights Funeral Chapel Ltd. were in trust of arrangements.
