On Saturday, September 12, 2009 Alice Cardinal of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 74 years. Alice is lovingly survived by her children: Mabel (Albert) Vasseur of Bonnyville, Mary (Isaac) Fehr of Edmonton, Beatrice (Fred) Vallee of St. Lina, Harry (April) Whitford of Bonnyville, Ester (Lloyd) Green of Edmonton, Alex (Lil) Cardinal of Bonnyville, Rosemarie Cardinal of Edmonton, Colleen (Ron) Smith of Edmonton; one brother: William Whitford of Goodfish Lake; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husband: Willard S. Cardinal; grandson: Cameron Fehr; great grandson: Dayton Vallee; daughter-in-law: Carman Cardinal; brothers: Mark, Archie, Harry, Roy, John, & Francis; siters: Florence, Lydia, Evelyn, Rose, & Lilly. Prayer Vigil was held Wednesday September 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Louis Parish Hall, Bonnyville, Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday September 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant. Pallbearers were: Darryl Vasseur, Chad Fehr, Shaun Vallee, Greg Hillaby, Wyatt Whitford, John Fitzpatrick; Honorary Pallbearers were Albert Vasseur, Issac Fehr, Ron Smith, Lloyd Green, Fred Vallee & all of Alice’s Nephews.
