BLANCHARD, Georgette April 5, 1920 – August 30, 2011 On Tuesday, August 30, 2011 Mrs. Georgette Blanchard of Fort Kent passed away at the age of 91 years. Georgette will be sadly missed by her children Ervin (Faye) Blanchard, Butch (Karen) Blanchard, Jenny (Louie) Doonanco, Diane (Albert) Doonanco, Rod (Deb) Blanchard, Brian (Mary Jane) Blanchard, John Blanchard, 27 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and her brother James (Ellen) Kirby, 3 brother in laws and 2 sister in laws, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Georgette was predeceased by her husband Elgin Banchard, daughters Bernice Desrosiers and Linda Tizzard and grandsons Brett Blanchard, Tiger Doonanco and Jessie Tizzard and Great Grand Daughter Amanda. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville with Father Rene Realuyo. www.northernlightsfs.ca Northern Lights Funeral Chapel Ltd. were in trust of arrangements.
