I met Shelley only a couple years ago, and she was really a wonderful person. I just spoke with her a week previously and she was so full of energy and positive towards her future - she had nothing but great things to say about the people she worked with and she was looking forward to seeing her mom come down for a visit. We talked about getting together for a coffee after her visit and getting her truck ready for winter. Shelley always treated me with respect and cared for the people around her. From the first day I met Shelley she welcomed me to visit her at her home and shared with me the things she was passionate about, and I was amazed at how creative she was. Shelley was one of a kind and I am still shocked that she has passed away. I was always inspired by her strength and impressed at her accomplishments in life because in the face of adversity she would find a way to overcome and be strong. It was something we shared and talked about while we were catching up on each others lives. I remember when I told her I was trying to get a house, she just told me to go for it, and one of the first things she did on the phone was congratulate me on getting it and told me she knew I could do it. I would like to send my prayers to her family as I know it is a difficult time for them, I will always remember Shelley as a kind and giving person, someone who was a good friend, a talented person, and showed strength when most wouldn't be able to. My thoughts are with you. God Bless
