Lawrence Desjarlais Jr. August 11, 1971 - August 2, 2009 On Sunday August 2, 2009 Mr. Lawrence Desjarlais Jr. of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away at the age of 37 years. Lawrence will be sadly missed by his daughter: Tianna Collins; mother: Doris Desjarlais; siblings: Darla Ferguson, Theresa Desjarlais, Joan (Dennis) Wells, Mavis Desjarlais, Francine (William) Daigneault, Scarlet Desjarlais, Lyle Desjarlais, Matthew (Michelle) Desjarlais, Rory (Arlene) Collins; as well as his aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Lawrence Jr. was predeceased by his father Lawrence Desjarlais; brothers: Dean, Joseph, Luke; nephew: Mark Anthony; maternal grandparents: Delphine & Jean Marie Durocher; paternal grandparents: Isaac Theresa Desjarlais. A Prayer Vigil was held Thursday & Friday August 6 & 7, 2009 at Elizabeth Métis Settlement Community Hall. A Funeral Service was held Saturday August 8, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Roman Catholic Church with Father Rene Realuyo as celebrant. Interment followed in the Elizabeth Métis Settlement Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dennis Wells, Donald Collins, Stacy Desjarlais, Kelvin Desjarlais, Troy Durocher, William Daigenault; Honorary Pallbearers were Lyle, Matthew, Cole, Aries, Kaileb, Nathan, Alex, Preston,Connor, Dustin, Joshua, Terry Soloway To send condolences please visit the obituary online at www.northernlightsfs.ca Northern Lights Funeral Chapel Ltd. were in trust of arrangements.
