On Thursday, April 14, 2011 Emerson Dewan of Bonnyville, AB passed away at the age of 78 years. Emerson will be sadly missed by his children: Heather O’ Quinn of Bonnyville, AB, Debby (Ron) Truhn of Ardmore, AB, Carrie Goldsmith of Bonnyville, AB, Tammy (Todd) Schnieder of Bonnyville, AB, Clarence (Brenda) Dewan of Ardmore, AB, Mark (Paula) Dewan of Ardmore, AB; Grandchildren: Clint (Jamie) O’Quinn, Cheyenne (Jonathan) O’Quinn, Nicky (Richard) Truhn, Nina (Kevin) Truhn, Norman (Nicole) Truhn, Rosalind Goldsmith, Robert Goldsmith, Shannon (Bryan) Clarke, Adahn (Chris) Clarke, Kris (Lindsay) Clarke, Amanda (Chris) Lemieux, Scott Dewan, Kelsey Dewan and Riley Dewan; Great-Grandchildren; Connor & Brett O’Quinn, Cameron, Dominik, Matthew & Logan O’Quinn , Tanis & Blake Miller, Mia & Preston Truhn, Benjamin Chandler, Cooper Lemieux; sister: Elizabeth (Don) Munroe.Emerson was predeceased by his wife; Laura Emerson; parents: William and Elizabeth Dewan. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Parish, Bonnyville, AB with Father Rene Realuyo as the celebrant. Singer: Roger Pellerin. Interment will follow at St. Peter St. Paul Cemetery at Alexander, Alberta. Honorary Pallbearers are Clint O’ Quinn, Norm Truhn, Robert Goldsmith, Kris Clarke, Scott Dewan and Riley Dewan. Pallbearers are Clarence Dewan, Mark Dewan, Ron Truhn, Don Sinclair, Lester Goldsmith, Tracey Layton and Todd Schnieder.
