On Friday, July 24, 2009 Alexis was suddenly and tragically taken away at the age of 15 years. Alexis will be sadly missed by her sisters: Sheryl & Bonnie Gadwa of Kehewin, AB; father Ronnie Paul of Kehewin, AB; maternal grandparents: John & Dorothy Gadwa of Kehewin, AB; uncles: Jeffrey Moyah, George Gadwa, Jason Kowerchuk, Sydney Paul, Elmer Paul, Barry Paul; aunts: Sylvia Paul, Glenda Paul & Andrea Paul. Alexis was predeceased by her mother Frances Gadwa; sister: Sarah Gadwa; uncle: Ivan, Robert, Wilfred, Howard, Lionel, & Harley; aunt: Evelyn & maternal grandmother: Bonnie Moyah; paternal grandparents: Mary & Johnny Paul. A Prayer Vigil was held Monday and Tuesday July 27 & 28, 2009 at the Kehewin School Gymnasium. A Funeral Service was held Wednesday July 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kehewin School Gymnasium, Kehewin, AB, with Father Paulson as the celebrant. Pallbearers were: Sheryl Gadwa, Kaylee Paul, Merril Paul, Tarryn Jebeaux, Christine Powder, Skye John. Honorary pallbearers were: Candace Cook, Virginia Badger, Schinae Badger, Bunnie John, Bonnie Gadwa, Sherri Scanie.
