On Saturday, March 12, 2011 Michael Pipe of Hobbema, Alberta, passed away at the age of 58 years. Michael will be sadly missed by his special friend: Gladys Stoney; Children: Louie Pipe, Freda (Errol) Cardinal and George Pipe; mother of his children: Margaret Pipe; step children: Dion Okeymow and Ladine Okeymow; siblings: Jimmy (Martha) Pipe, Florence Pipe, Rita (Leonard) Castor and Betsy (William) Dion; aunt: Annie Cryer as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Michael was Predeceased by his mother: Marie Mary Pipe; father: Louie Pipe: brothers: Clarence Pipe, George Paul, George Pipe and Joseph Pipe; sister: Theresa Couiter A prayer vigil was held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Kehewin Community Centre. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Kehewin Community Centre Kehewin, Alberta. With Father Rene Realuyo as the celebrant. Interment followed at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta. Pallbearers were Vince Pipe, Kevin Youngchief, Cameron Pipe, Jammer Saddleback, Colin Dion and Gabe Cardinal. Honorary Pallbearers were all of Michael’s friends.
