Obituary of Joseph Henrese Desjarlais

On Thursday, February 10, 2011 Mr. Joseph “Henrese” Desjarlais of Kehewin, Alberta passed away at the age 61 years. Henrese will be lovingly remembered by his siblings; Archie (Linda) Desjarlais of East Prairie, Joyce (Ray) Bruneau of Edmonton Margaret Desjarlais of East Prairie, Gloria (Archie) Desjarlais of Peavine, Wilmar (Marlene) Desjarlais of Buffalo Lake, Lorrain (Randy) Willier of Chilliwack, BC, Shirley (Ron) Newfield of Edmonton, Peter (Janet) Desjarlais of Hobbema Evelyn (Paul) Carifelle of Peavine, Brenda (Dean Sr.) Howse of Buffalo Lake Delores (Brian) Supernault - Desjarlais of East Prairie, Corrine (Issac) Bruno-Desjarlais of Alexander, Kenny Desjarlais of Buffalo Lake; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts & uncles Henry Desjarlais, Harvey Desjarlais, Ernest Desjarlais, Albert Desjarlais, Helen Cardinal, Walter John, Gabe John,Charlie John, Jerome John, Brenda Joly. Henrese was predeceased by his parents; Maryann & Joseph Desjarlais; siblings: Deborah, Francis, and Stanley R. Desjarlais. A prayer vigil was held on Saturday & Sunday, February 12 & 13, 2011 at Kehewin Community Centre. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Kehewin Community Centre at Kehewin, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo as the celebrant. Interment followed at the St. Joseph’s Community Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta. Pallbearers are Rodney John, Tyler John, Archie Desjarlais, Ray Bruneau, Curtis John and Peter Desjarlais.
