Obituary of Holly Mae Ens

On Wednesday, December 29, 2010 Holly Mae Ens passed away at the Bonnyville Health Centre in Bonnyville, AB. Holly was born and raised in Meadow Lake, SK. Now Holly has taken her place amongst the angels. During the last decade, Holly courageously battled against cancer. Holly had an immense love of her family and deep faith, which sustained her throughout numerous difficult treatments. Holly had an endless ability to love. Holly’s love, generosity, kindness and strength of spirit have touched so many hearts and lives. Holly will be remembered with love by her husband, Arthur, her precious children Derek, Kyle and Kali, father Wayne Greene, siblings Susan Greene, Beverly (Ken) Cobler, Robert Greene, Brian (Lil) Greene & Corey (Amy) Greene, mother-in-law Rose Ens, Sister-in-law Agnes (Chris) Bannister, brothers-in-law: Stanley (Sylvia) Ens, Donald (Sharon) Ens, John Ens. Holly’s large extended family included numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Holly loved all the children in her extended family. She was the ‘special auntie’ who enhanced everyone’s lives. Holly had numerous friends who also became part of her family. Holly was predeceased by her mother; Verna Greene; grandparents: Wayne & Edith Greene and Axel & Marie Wiklund; her father-in-law: Rupert Ens, brother-in-law Garry Bannister and niece Sherri Haluke. Holly was a warm, loving, compassionate, generous woman. Everyone who knew her was enriched by the experience. Our time with Holly was much too short. The love Holly had for us and the love we have for her will be held close to our hearts forever. The family wishes to thank all those who prayed and offered us support during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the staff of the Bonnyville Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of our beloved Holly and the kindness that they also extended to our family. A memorial service will be held at the Bonnyville Baptist Church Tuesday January 4th 2011 at 11:00 am. with Pastor David Maclean officiating.
