Obituary of Beverly Valerie Berland

On Saturday, December 4, 2010 Mrs. Beverly Berland of Cold Lake First Nations, AB passed away at the age of 54 years. Beverly will be sadly missed by her husband Richard Berland; children: Marcella Nest of Cold Lake, AB and Gerald Nest of Cold Lake, AB; grandchildren: Rae-Anne, Tiffany, Monica, Nathaniel, Mandy, Ashley and Talia; numerous great grandchildren; sisters: Marlene (Norbert) Francois of Cold Lake, AB, and Bev (Lloyd) Nest of Cold Lake, AB. Beverly was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Sara Nest son: Simon Nest; siblings: Brian, Evelyn, Kevin and Alvin; grandparents: Elzear & Monique Nest, Joseph Martial & Mary Ester Janvier. A wake was held on Thursday & Friday, December 9 & 10, 2010 at Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Parish at Cold Lake First Nations, AB with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery. Honourary Pallbearers were Leanne Berland, Leanne Nest, Marlene Francois, Bernice Martial, Marcella Nest and Mary Janvier. Pallbearers were Gordon Muskego, Dwayne Nest, Christopher Charland, Norbert Francois, Gerald Nest and Pat Berland.
